Life is full of things we’re going to do “someday”. It’s also true that “someday” has a habit of never actually turning up.
So what’s the best way of making sure these things get done? You need to make the first move, take that first step. Once taken, everything starts to loosen up and the next step appears to be a little easier.
So, we know we need to eat better and exercise more so we’ll get healthier and live longer, and we already know what we’re supposed to eat. Then why don’t we just do it?
Inertia is, unfortunately, a natural human condition. So it is easier to drift and do nothing rather than change the habits of a lifetime.
